Been busy lately and hadn’t had the chance to do much with the new new Miata since fixing the hydraulics and changing the oil. H ad a break over the weekend and took it to one of my normal motorcycling roads.
Save for stainless brake lines, this is about as stock as an NA can be, and it is surprisingly great. There is a large amount of body roll, but it doesn’t seem to negatively influence grip in any measurable way. She hustles through tight corners really well for a stock car, I’m looking forward to seeing
how
it
does at L
aguna in October.

Glad you got it out. Are you talking about Miata Reunion? What class are you running? Come say in to the guy in the black and gold E xocet!

Yep!
I’m in Saturday D group, haven’t ever driven Laguna IRL, so that seemed like the right choice.
I still might bring the horrible red car, but it’s looking more and more like blue is the right choice.

Awesome. I’m in the E group. I have no shot of getting any track days in between now and then anyways due to travel.
I don’t think it matters which you bring ;)

Sweet! I’ll know in a few weeks which one is coming. I really want to bring the $200 miata (red) for the lols
Red, however, needs a motor swap to survive the trip, if I don’t make serious headway on that this weekend, I’ll bring blue instead.
